- Applying spectrum pricing
Applying spectrum pricing to the maritime sector, and new arrangements for the management of spectrum used for radar and aeronautical navigation aids
Last Reviewed: 04 July 2010
Ofcom has further extended the closing date of the consultationto 29 January 2010.
Ofcom has taken this decision for the following reasons:
- Maritime sector and other stakeholders have requested a sufficient period of overlap with the Aeronautical sector VHF spectrum pricing consultation - prior to the closing date of the Maritime sector spectrum pricing consultation. The Aeronautical sector VHF spectrum pricing consultation is due to be published shortly.
- Maritime stakeholders have indicated that with the coming Christmas and new Year break, there would otherwise no longer be an adequate overlap period for considered responses to be made with regard to the Maritime sector spectrum pricing consultation.
