Cost Modelling Workshop 26th October 2009

On Monday 26th October Ofcom held a cost modelling workshop at Ofcoms offices.

We are currently conducting a cost modelling exercise in parallel to our further work on mobile termination rates on market definition, Significant Market Power (SMP) and possible remedies for operators who are found to have SMP in the relevant market.

Holding a workshop with stakeholders enabled us to share our initial views on our key modelling assumptions and receive feedback from the industry as early as possible in this process.

The workshop was attended by representatives from all the national MNOs, BT and Cable and Wireless.
